The Asgard Controlled Environments team recently attended a Bird Identification and Suet Ball Workshop to deepen their understanding of local bird species and explore ways to support biodiversity through sustainable practices. The event was an excellent opportunity to connect with nature, learn about wildlife, and take actionable steps to promote environmental conservation.
The primary reason for attending this workshop was to contribute to the preservation of local bird populations. By learning how to make suet balls, they discovered simple ways to support bird life during colder months when food is scarce. Additionally, the workshop highlighted the crucial link between individual actions, sustainability, and biodiversity conservation.
The workshop was organised by a community forest charity for the Greater Manchester area. City of Trees plant trees for people; trees to create better, greener places; to boost health and wellbeing; to enhance green skills; and to tackle the climate and biodiversity emergency.
Asgard Controlled Environments proudly share our commitment to sustainability and a greener future. We’re passionate about reducing our environmental footprint and contributing positively to biodiversity and our planet.
