At Asgard Controlled Environments, we prioritise the well-being of our employees and community, as we recognise that our success is intertwined with the prosperity of our employees, clients, and community at large. Our Social Pillar, integral to our sustainability efforts, fosters partnerships for various initiatives.
Our Community Educational engagements, aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, adds tangible Social Value to the communities in which we operate. In our latest endeavours, we were delighted to welcome students to our National Isolation Unit site at the Mater Hospital.
Students visited from the local inner-city Boys school ‘The Brunner’. We approached them for this collaboration as the school is part of the ‘Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools’ programme, which aims to help schools with the highest number of students at risk of educational disadvantage.
During their visit to site, the students experienced life on site through meaningful engagements with Asgard employees, and subcontractors. Students were introduced to the various roles and responsibilities on this site through the variety of career paths and opportunity for development and training open to them in their future careers. Students received hands on engagements ranging from Health and safety to product design, site management and sustainability.
